Intercalated Phosphorene for Improved Spintronic Applications
نویسندگان
چکیده
In this work we study the intercalation of monolayer phosphorene with nitrogen, lithium and calcium for exploring prospects spintronic applications. The electronic magnetic properties intercalated structure are investigated via density functional theory to obtain band spin polarized states. Albeit data show vanishing gap, a noticeable difference emerges in densities up down states induced by intercalants. To evaluate performance phosphorene, order parameter, measuring asymmetry among states, is computed which clearly shows evolution improved at large intercalant densities. Further, larger atomic numbers intercalants seem aid as material.

متن کاملImproved All-Carbon Spintronic Device Design
The discovery of magnetism in carbon structures containing zigzag edges has stimulated new directions in the development and design of spintronic devices. However, many of the proposed structures are designed without incorporating a key phenomenon known as topological frustration, which leads to localized non-bonding states (free radicals), increasing chemical reactivity and instability. By app...

The purpose of this paper is concerned with the mathematical model development issues, necessary for a better prediction of dynamic responses of articulated rotor helicopters. The methodology is laid out based on mathematical model development for an articulated rotor helicopters, using the theories of aeroelastisity, finite element and the time domain compressible unsteady aerodynamics. The he...
